5K Race to Raise Money For Lou Gehrig’s Disease
Teaneck's Cross River Bank is sponsoring the first annual 5K Health Awareness Run/Walk to raise money for Lou Gehrig's disease.
The race is being organized by the Jewish running club, JRunners, and is taking place on Dec. 5 in Prospect Park in Brooklyn.
The race is open to men and women of all ages and awards will be given for different age categories, according to a news release.
"Cross River Bank is committed to serve its community by supporting important charitable causes across the Tri-State region. We strongly believe that success is defined by the health of society's social responsibility. We intend to be a part of it," Gilles Gade, chairman of Cross River Bank, said in a news release.
