Golf Outing Held To Raise Money For Madraigos
Cross River Bank held a golf outing with more than 120 participates to generate funds for Madraigos, a nonprofit group that provides programs to at-risk teens.
"Cross River Bank is proud to be associated with Madraigos, and see so many people and corporations rally together to support such a vital cause," Gilles Gade, chairman of Teaneck-based Cross River Bank, said in a press release.
Gade organized the inaugural outing.
Money raised will support a 4,000 square foot recreation center for teens, a 24-hour support line, in-school drug testing and prevention programs, drug awareness and prevention lectures, Tal Techiya Bais Medrash Program and Shabbatonim and Yom Tov Retreats.
"The Cross River Bank-Madraigos golf outing was an unqualified success thanks to all of our sponsors and participants. We are thrilled at the enthusiastic response we received, and we're hopeful that we'll attract even more people and contributory dollars at next year's event," Rabbi Josh Zern, executive director of Madraigos, said in a press release.
Some of this years sponsors included GreenSky Capital, WeiserMazars, Exigent Capital, Scientific Fire, Greystone Financial and 718 Insurance.
