Two Teaneck High School crew boats advanced to the semi-finals in the prestigious annual Stotesbury Regatta, the largest high school rowing competition in the US, drawing highly accomplished teams from all over the country to the banks of the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia over the weekend of May 18-19, 2012. 

The boats that placed into the semi-finals were the Men's Varsity Quad, rowed by the boy's team captain, Ben Manahan, with Prynce Bonsu, Tim Graham, and Joel Whelan, and the Women's Varsity Double, rowed by the girl's team captain, Sarah Fisher, with her partner, Carly Ortiz.
