5Things October 5: Teaneck Teen Idol Auditions

  1. The Board of Education holds its workshop meeting tonight at 8 p.m. An angeda is posted on the school district website
  2. The Teaneck Recreation Department will host its junior bowling program tonight for students age 4 to 14 in its Fall Bowling program. Bumper lanes are available for children 4 to 9 years of age. The program starts at 3:45 pm at Bowler City Lanes in Hackensack, and costs $8 per person.
  3. The Teaneck Teen Idol tryouts continue today at 4 p.m. at Teaneck High School. Interested teens should bring their best song choices, proof of age, proof of Teaneck residency or school attendance, and $5 to enter the contest.
  4. The Public Library is offering Storytime for children ages 3 and up at 2 p.m. No registration required.
  5. Sunny skies with a high near 72 degrees and winds gusting near 26 miles per hour.
