Authorities have charged an Englewood man in a plot to rob a local liquor store distributor after the merchant told Teaneck police he was being followed by would-be bandits, the prosecutor's office said Monday.
Dog Park Work Nearing Completion
Teaneck's long-discussed dog park is on track to open by the end of January, a town official said Tuesday.
The schedule could change based on any weather-related delays, Township Manager William Broughton told the town council. Crews have been working to convert an unused above-ground pool at Phelps Park into an off-leash dog run.
Former Highwayman Commits to Kansas State
Neville Fincher, Teaneck's former power forward, has made a verbal commitment to join Kansas State's basketball team, according to kansascity.com.
Fincher now plays at Virginia-based Hargrave Military Academy. He was also recruited by Seton Hall, Duquesne, Western Kentucky, Houston and Marshall, the report said.
