Bill Clinton To Campaign for Pascrell in North Jersey

Former President Bill Clinton will visit North Jersey June 1 to campaign for Rep. Bill Pascrell in the 9th District congressional race.
The Pascrell campaign announced the visit Friday, but did not immediately provide details.
Clinton endorsed Pascrell over fellow Democrat Rep. Steve Rothman May 4. Rothman, a former Englewood mayor, campaigned for President Obama in 2008, while Pascrell supported then-challenger Hillary Clinton.
David Axelrod, a senior advisor to the Obama campaign, endorsed Rothman at an event in Wood-Ridge Wednesday.
Rothman and Pascrell have been engaged in a bitter inter-party fight for thenewly drawn 9th district.
