Mom Sues After Breastfeeding Vid Becomes Porn

A Fair Lawn mother is suing the producer of an instructional breastfeeding video she appeared in with her infant daughter after the video was posted to YouTube and spliced into a pornographic film by a third party.

Maryann Sahoury, a sales and marketing professional who, according to her website, worked for nearly 10 years as the Director of Marketing and Special Events with Parisi Fitness Centers, shot the video for Meredith Video Studios in early 2010.

Ridgewood Teen Found Dead

A 16-year-old incoming senior at Ridgewood High School died early Wednesday, Ridgewood police confirmed.

Ridgewood police Cpt. Jacqueline Luthcke told Patch that police received a report at 3:36 a.m. Wednesday that a male juvenile was unresponsive at a residence in Ridgewood. The individual was reportedly driven to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Teen Threatened Teen with Ice Pick, Cops Say

An Oakland teenager was charged with threatening another juvenile with an ice pick during a fight in the Boulder Run parking lot Sunday night, according to Wyckoff Police.

Cops received a call just after 10 p.m. Sunday saying that someone was threatening another person with a knife at the shopping center on Franklin Avenue, according to Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin Fox. 

Neighbor Charged in Berdan Avenue Arson

Paul Dombrowski, 40, of Fair Lawn, was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated arson and four other counts in connection with a suspicious fire that broke out overnight Monday at a Berdan Avenue home.

Assemblyman Schroeder Facing More Accusations

State Assemblyman Robert Schroeder owes millions of dollars and may be facing sanctions from the federal government, according to multiple media reports.

Schroeder was charged with writing almost $400,000 in bad checks last week. At the time, Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa said the state would continue their investigation and asked others who had bad financial dealings with Schroeder to come forward.
