Car Crashes into Teaneck CVS

Teaneck firefighters, police and the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to an accident on Cedar Lane Friday. One car jumped the curb and struck the CVS store.

A flatbed from Tumino's Towing was needed to remove the car.

A car crashed into a CVS store on Cedar Lane after a two-vehicle accident near Elm Avenue Friday afternoon, authorities said. 

The CVS did not sustain any major damage and the store remained open. There were no serious injuries, authorities said. A township building inspector was called to inspect the structure.

Cedar Lane was partially blocked while emergency crews cleared the scene. The roadway was reopened around 2 p.m.

Additional details were not immediately available.

My father & I were there when they were taking away the car that ran into CVS. We were running into J & J. The traffic wasn't too bad for a accident that happened on a busy Cedar Lane at that time of the day, there was more pedestrian traffic due to people wanting to see what was going on. Glad that no one was hurt.
