Chris Christie Loses His Cool at the Jersey Shore

The governor was caught on video berating a heckler on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk.

Maybe it's the summer heat.

Gov. Chris Christie can't seem to keep a lid on his temper these days.

For the second time in a week, Christie lost his cool in public.

While on vacation with his family in Seaside Heights on Thursday, Christie lashed out at a passerby on the Boardwalk, the Huffington Post reports. The passerby made a derisive comment about the governor's education policies, according to TMZ.com

The video can be seen right here.

Last week, the governor berated a reporter during a press conference, after the reporter asked an off-topic question.

Despite the recent flare-ups, the Republican governor is considered a front-runner for the GOP vice-presidential nomination.

Good, I think politicians should fight back against cheap shots. Should have knocked the jerk out!

There's no way Romney will pick Christie as his running mate. There has to be that fear of a PR nightmare down the road.

Glad that you can make jokes about it...it this was you on vacation & someone came up to you & harassed you while you were with your family what would you have done? Honestly don't say you would have just walked away

I totally agree with him (the governor). He's on vacation with his family for crying out loud. It wasn't as bad as you people say it was big deal. He told the guy he had a big mouth & to keep walking. The guy would have probably did worse if that was him on vacation & someone yelled something at him.

According to the articles, the man was ALREADY walking on when our seriously disturbed governor "marched toward him" (TMZ article) telling him to "keep walking...really good...keep waking." I read that as a disgusting schoolyard bully's taunt, basically daring him NOT to keep waking. Is this really the kind of swinish behavior you want from your governor?

Folks, if we cannot find individuals to elect that cannot deal professionally and as an adult with situations like these, well God help the state. Look, every politician knows the score when in public. He CHOSE to be there, to be with the people and oh I betcha shake a few hands and kiss a few babies. In other words, he was working! While uncomfortable, he heeds to shut up in these situations because guess what....everyone now knows how to get on utube with the loud mouth governor. Big bullies with nothing to offer other than to try and control stuff will always lose, I just hope its soon. If he isn't defeated next time around, we have no one to blame but ourselves. What an embarrassment for the state.

Im personally very happy with someone who will tell it like it is. If an individual wants to dish it out in public he or she must be prepared to getty it right back.

Hey, Christie never has a problem dishing it out himself. Whether at a press conference where he oinks out that some reporter is "stupid" and an "idiot," or that this or that legislator is a "jerk" or a "numbnuts" or needs to have "a bat taken out on her," or at a call-in TV show where he oinks at a woman to "mind her own business," or at one of his slickly staged "town halls" where he oinks at anyone who asks a pointed question, his swinish behavior is not only unprofessional but disgusting.

I consider myself a conservative, and I would like nothing more than to support my elected leader. But Christie is a demonstrable liar, ignores our constitution, and protects connected criminals (see whistleblowerRN.com); he is a boor, and a phony who will verbalize conservative statements for the benefit of those who ignore his demonstrable corruption.
