Meet Otto a large Bulldog with a wonderful temperament and his canine and feline friends.

Otto is a large, male American Bulldog. Size is not an issue for this gentle giant. Otto came to the shelter as a stray and is such a delight to have. A wonderful temperament, this goofy fellow will make a great companion for any family looking for a large mush. Because he is young and full of life, he will need plenty of physical and mental stimulation. A social butterfly, this pooch is eager and happy to meet anyone who crosses his path. He is very easy to walk but should be the only pet in the home. Bergen County Animal Shelter

Freckles, a Bassett hound mix, is a completely different pooch outside the kennel. This funny looking goofball has come out of his shell a little but will definitely need more time to adjust to this environment, or to any new environment for that matter. Freckles was given to the shelter because he was not getting along with the other dog in the home. For this reason, we are looking for a family who doesn't mind being a one dog household. He will be plenty of dog and will need ample amount of exercise, physical and mental.
Confused yet delightful, Cricket, a Maltese/Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie Mix, is one irresistibly cute pooch. At 1-2 years, this itty bitty cutie sure is fun. Although she may be shy at first, she warms up quite nicely the more time she spends with her handler(s). Cricket came to in as a stray and was a flirt from the start. Yearning for human companionship, this vocal sweetheart will not let you forget she's in the room. This trait, although can be cute, will not be within weeks so adopters should discourage this needy behavior. Just the right amount of attention will turn her into a spectacular and respectful companion
Slappy is a super sweet and very shy 8 year old cat, a Russian blue domestic short hair grey mix. He is very gentle and loving. Slappy is a real mush ball.
Mayo is one awesome cat. He is about 2 years old and LOVES to be around people. He gets along great with the other shelter cats. Mayo has tested negative for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia.
