Harlem Opera Theatre to Perform in Teaneck

Carols, spirituals and holiday songs planned at Puffin event

The talented members of the Harlem Opera Theatre will present music from The Christmas Oratorio by Saint-Saens, La Boheme, The Marriage of Figaro, Lucia di Lammermoor and L'elisir d'amore, as well as carols, spirituals and favorite holiday songs.

Artistic Director Gregory Hopkins, internationally acclaimed tenor, conductor, organist and pianist will conduct the program, which will be performed by the melodious voices of Harlem Opera Theatre’s competition winners Carami Hilaire (soprano), a student of the Mannes College Professional Studies program; Taiwan Norris (tenor), a Morgan State University graduate; and Jorell Williams (baritone), Masters Degree graduate of Manhattan School of Music. Byron Sean, North American and European solo and chamber performer, will accompany them on the piano.

Audience and artists alike will join voices to celebrate the joy of the season. $10 suggested donation.
