Holy Name Working on Improved Flu Drug [VIDEO]

New flu drug could be ready in three to five years, report says

A team at Holy Name Medical Center is testing a new drug that could fight strains of the flu resistant to drugs like Tamiflu, WABC-TV reports.

Although still experimental, the drug could be available in about three to five years, the report said.

Clinical trials for the Department of Defense-funded project stated Monday at Holy Name.
