Judge Rules Against 'Birthers' Who Want Obama Removed From Ballot
Administrative Law judge says issue is irrelevant; Obama is automatically on ballot as President.
A state judge has ruled against objectors seeking to remove President Barack Obama's name from New Jersey's upcoming primary ballot.
Administrative Law Judge Jeff Masin ruled against the ballot challenge following a more than three-hour hearing earlier this week, according to attorney Mario Apuzzo, who represents two New Jersey men who brought the challenge.
The challenge centered on the men's contention that Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States and that a birth certificate released by the White House last April is fraudulent.
The judge ruled that Obama's place on the ballot could not be removed by challenge because Obama, as president, automatically appears on the ballot.
"The sham continues. In one way or another it's a sham of justice. Our judiciary is really taking us for a ride," Apuzzo said Thursday. "The logic is unbelievable."

I have one question for these idiots where is the proof he is not a citizen?

I have a better one. Where is the proof that they are citizens. You can't tell people running on "low horse power" anything. It's like they still believe, "if I can't see you, then you can't see me". The President has gone over and over, well beyond want any citizen should have to do. They have video's of him speaking at Harvard as a student and still won't believe. The sad truth is they are using it as a gise. They can't stand the fact that we have an Afro-American President. Too Bad. I'm white, I voted for him and I'm make my decision on what he's done NOT on his color. And for all those out there "chocking" on it? I have one word. GOOD

I hope the judge is assigning court cost etc to them after wasting 3 hours in hearing time and whatever time and the times the money court personnel spent before and after, just in administering this fraudulent suit. This matter has gone up and down the courts already and it's been decided many times over, based on the evidence presented (and the lack of anything to the contrary).
It's fine that these clowns want to have some fun and get their 5 minutes of fame, but please not on my tax bill.

The fact that they were described as 'birthers' makes me think they are the religious right known to be obsessed with some social political issues. The result here is this anger mentality today that causes some people to take up any kind of cause (no matter how off the beaten track) as a way to get back at the source of their anger.

We just have to accept that there are loons on both political sides and it's these loons that get way too much attention.

I wouldn't say there aren't any loons on the left, but the right is chock full of them. And it's the preponderance of right-wing loons that makes lunacy such an endemic disease in Republican Party that there are precious too few people there with the basic courage to even try to tamp it down.

Harlan, you are missing or avoiding my point. Republican officialdom is doing nothing to tamp down the lunacy. Case in point:

I want there to be no doubt about this matter. If and when my grandson, Benjamin Michael Fineberg Dec, runs for and is elected to the Presidency of this great land, I want no doubts to arise, no allegations to be made, regarding where he was born, and who he palled around with.
My family has acquired his long-form birth certificate from the Village of Ridgewood, New Jersey. It establishes beyond all reasonable doubt that my grandson was in fact born on the 25th day of February, 2012 in The Valley Hospital. He was not born in Poland. He was not born in Germany. He was not born in Israel. I was present at the hospital when he was born. Many nurses, doctors, and others are prepared to give sworn testimony to the facts regarding Benjamin’s birth.
I know that some future naysayer may well come along to deny this excellent young man his eligibility to assume the Presidency. They will no doubt see his charm, intelligence, nobility of character, his refinement, good looks, athleticism and charisma as a threat to their nefarious agenda.
They will allege that since he “palled around” with me, he must have absorbed from me my fondness for socialism, my belief in atheism, and my love of food, as well as my adherence to the idea of world government and a world language, Esperanto.
Benjamin is and will remain his own man, in spite of palling around with me and anybody else. And he was born in this country. Trust me. You can bet on it.

I'm starting to feel just as proud of Benjamin and will support him if he decides to run for office lol. And if he speaks fluent Esperanto, I'll make a donation to the campaign.

I saw some video of the hearing and read some of the "evidence" they submitted. It was stuff that they'd downloaded and copied from the Internet. That was their "evidence". Its so *strange* to me that people don't understand what evidence is from a legal perspective, or what is acceptable as evidence in a court of law and not only what but why. Do they not *want* to understand? A court of law isn't somewhere where you stand up and state your *opinion* and the judge listens and bases his ruling on that. If you want that go to a town council meeting. A court of law has nothing to do with your opinion.
I don't know. I've watched people try to represent themselves in court and only very rarely do they do a good job of it. Too many people believe that court representation is about some gimmicky "magic words" that you have to say to to the judge, and that's why you hire a lawyer, because he knows those "magic words", or turning the Mason ring the right way or something. It has nothing to do with that.

I have a couple of questions for the American Citizen---Why has Obama spent millions to cover (or hide) things of his past and have public records sealed (College Records)?
What could they show that he doesn't want YOU to see?
Could they say that he attended as a "Foreign Student / Foreign Exchange Student"?
Why did the Clinton's (from the Democratic Party) start all of this controversy, but not follow through with it?
As a US Citizen don't you think that we deserve to know the whole truth?
Was Obama born in America-probably- does he care (or stand) for the values of America-definitely not.
No matter as to where he was born--he most definitely was not raise in America and does not share the same values as those who were....this is why Our Founding Fathers wanted only "Natural Born Citizens" to be eligible to run for the Presidency.
THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!

It's my guess that his keeps his college records sealed simply because they probably paint him in a non-flattering light, academically. It would simply debunk the image that his backers have created of him that he is an intellectual. These same people did their best to paint GWB as some kind of moron, so it was a smart move on their part to show Obama as the answer we all need to the growing economic problems at the time. Now I'm not suggesting that GWB was a genius, but his academic record was found to be better than John Kerry's. It's extremely rare to find Obama speaking on anything other than light banter without the need for a teleprompter. In the rare instances that he has gone off script, we get gaffes like the 57 States and his embarrassing moment when his teleprompter failed. The media and TV comedians make little to no hay with this stuff, whereas similar GWB gaffery got endless coverage. Dan Quayle got killed with a few gaffes, whereas we are all supposed to just ignore our current VP, with a chuckle, "Oh, there goes Joe again."

Get a life seriously, all you do is probably sit on your computer and look up stupid crap and read chain emails like the one you got this "information" from. His college records are private. I was born and raised in America and I know that it isn't an American value to say crap about the president simply because he is black. It's hard for you to believe that a black man can go to Harvard and is smarter than you ever have been or will be.

Harlan, even if he didn't recieve the best grades at Harvard, which I'm sure he did, since he was the editor of the Law Review, its still quite an accomplishment to get into Harvard. He wasn't a senator's son like Bush, he got in on his own.
