UPDATE: Route 4 Cleared After Morning Crash
Teaneck emergency responders called to accident with injuries.
Updated 9:50 a.m. Tuesday: All lanes have been reopened after an earlier crash on Route 4.
First report:
An accident with injuries led to delays on Route 4 westbound, between Queen Anne Road and Belle Avenue, Tuesday morning.
The right and center lanes were blocked as of 9:15 a.m., the state transportation department reported.
Authorities said the injuries were not serious, but two people were taken to an area hospital.
Teaneck firefighters, the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps and police were called to the scene.
Additional details were not immediately available.

Always in the same spot.. Because drivers do not understand that STOP doesn’t mean go,,,, they always jump on RT 4 and then don’t move or bring car up to speed limits

Maybe if they had an entrance ramp like a normal highway that would probably help too.

Visit the entrance ramp to I-95 off Degraw Ave in Teaneck or onto I-80 from Palisades Ave in Bogota and see how people use entrance ramps. The answer is not the laying of more concrete but of education.
