Local Dining Offers Valentine’s Day Romance

Patch guide to Valentine’s Day specials in the township.

One of the nice things about Teaneck is that on Valentine’s Day you can find a fun, affordable, and loving time without the travel hassle. Check our list of local places offering something special for Valentine’s Day.

Get romantic at these warm spots:

The Classic Quiche

The logic is simple. Mondays can be busy, a tough night to dine out.

So, celebrate Valentine’s Day a day early.

The Classic Quiche, owned by Joseph and Charlene Sciarrone, is hosting a “Valentines Dance” on Sunday evening, Feb. 13 in the small, personal party room. Held from 6:00pm – 9:00 pm, the event includes a dance lesson, great live music, appetizers, refreshments, a cash bar, and more. Tickets are $20.00 with your RSVP. For info, email giftofdance@gmail.com or visit www.giftofdancestudios.com.

Amarone Ristorante

A few specialties highlight the Amarone’s Valentine’s Day menu. A $22.95 offering is Julietta & Romeo of veal and chicken stuffed with prosciutto, provolone, all in a Madeira wine sauce. Also, there is a heart shaped lobster ravioli for $21.95, and a heart-shaped chocolate mousse cake. Dinner is served from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Regina’s Steakhouse

Regina’s is offering a three course Valentine’s Day dinner for $69 per person plus tax and gratuity. The first course includes choices of shrimp bisque soup, warm goat cheese tart, Regina’s salad, Portobello strudel or jumbo lump crab roll, while the main course options are roasted half chicken over jasmine rice, beef wellington with sautéed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes in a brandy peppercorn sauce, pan roasted Chilean sea bass, grilled shrimp and sweet peas in saffron risotto, a veal t-bone, or jumbo lump crab ravioli on vodka tomato cream sauce. A complimentary glass of champagne and a variety of desserts are offered as well. Call (201) 862-1996 for more information.

BV Tuscany Ristorante

Cedar Lane’s favorite Italian restaurant will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, and seatings will be at 3:30, 6:20 and after.

“We will have a special a la carte menu. Appetizers will range in price from $6.95 to $10.95, entrees from $17.95 to $27.95, and desserts will be $6.50.,” says owner Benny Balidemaj.

“And, of course, all the ladies will get a chocolate heart.”

Nobo Wine & Grill

Call ahead and reserve your table at Nobo Wine & Grill, but remember to do this: mention Teaneck Patch. The popular Palisades Avenue locale is offering a complimentary glass of champagne with dinner for each couple -- that's two glasses, one for each – that dine at Nobo and says the lovingly, magic words over the phone.
