A man who ran from Bogota police was caught on Mildred Street Friday afternoon, authorities said.

Police from several agencies had been searching for the unidentified man near Herrick Park and the old soap factory. The search involved officers from Bogota, Teaneck, CSX and the Bergen County Police Department K-9 unit. 

Although the wanted man initially evaded police earlier in the afternoon, a team of officers tracked him down in Teaneck around 3:15 p.m.

The man was taken to Bogota's headquarters for processing, police said. Additional details were not immediately released.
