Teaneck community leaders, officials to discuss bias incidents at Rodda Center event.
The following information was submitted by the Teaneck Democratic Municipal Committee:
The Teaneck Democratic Municipal Committee will be holding a forum addressing bias for all Teaneck residents. The event will include a panel discussion with local leaders who are working every day to preserve a peaceful and productive diversity in our community, followed by Q&A, and an opportunity for all of us to meet a new neighbor and talk with fellow residents of Teaneck.
The panel (still in formation) will include representatives from the Teaneck Community Relations Advisory Board, the Bergen County Branch of the NAACP, Teaneck Community Policing, American Muslim Union, and a Teaneck schools educator and anti-bullying specialist.
The panel will run from 7:30 to 9 p.m. tonight at the Richard Rodda Community Center
