Pet Oxygen Masks Donated to Fire Department

Donation made on behalf of Companion Animal Advocates.

Two Rochelle Park residents recently donated a set of pet oxygen masks to the Teaneck Fire Department, according to a press release.

Pam and Tom McDermott made the donation on behalf of Companion Animal Advocates in honor of their beloved dog Mac, the release said.

“I grew up in Teaneck and wanted to make sure that the pets in that town were protected in case of an emergency,” said Pam McDermott. “We were going to donate to Rochelle Park but they already had a set donated to them through CAA’s pet oxygen mask program.  CAA is doing such a great job making sure that so many towns in Bergen County are equipped. I would highly recommend residents contact CAA to donate to their town and ensure all pets have a fighting chance in case of the unthinkable.”
