Teaneck officials will hold a series of presentations to educate residents on emergency preparedness.
This year’s presentation will be divided into three evenings which can be taken as a whole or in separate parts. The schedule will be:
November 1:
Utility Emergencies
November 8:
Children, Senior Citizens and Pets.
November 15:
General Emergency Preparedness
Each presentation will begin at 7 p.m. and will held at the Teaneck Police Department Headquarters at 900 Teaneck Road.

This is a great outreach effort on the part of our TPD. While there is no specific session for Flooding or Train Derailment events, at least we will have "the basics". I hope the TPD will videotape the presentations so they can be reviewed by those who could not attend. After all, even our police station can't hold 39,000 people!
