Teaneck Road’s Packer Shoes will be home to the only 12 pairs of NBA star John Wall’s “Beyond the Gold” sneaker to go on sale Thursday, a blog on the Washington Post reports.
“If you think the hysteria over Jordan shoes is crazy, just wait,” the Washington Post’s Sarah Kogod writes. “This John Wall show release is going to be bananas.”
The individually numbered shoes go on sale at 7:30 p.m. Thursday for $200. The Reebok shoes come in a briefcase, with one holding tickets to Wall’s first season game at Madison Square Garden, reports say.
“The mega-brand will conduct a limited, 12 pair release that will coincide with JWall’s first game of the season at Madison Square Garden, as one briefcase will contain tickets to the Knicks-Wizards game this Friday, April 13,” says slamonline.com.
Packer Shoes is located at 941 Teaneck Road.
Correction: Contrary to numerous published reports, Packer Shoes will be opening noon Thursday and selling the John Wall shoes at 7:30 p.m., not midnight.
