Road Closures, Paving Begin This Week

A look at what's coming up this week in Teaneck.

 

Paving work on State Street is planned to begin Wednesday, leading to intermittent closures between the State Street Bridge and Teaneck Road.

Work will begin at 7 a.m. and last through 6 p.m. Friday, the township announced. The project schedule could change based on weather.

Also this week:

  • The League of Women Voters of Bergen County will host a candidates forum for the 5th District congressional candidates Tuesday at Bergen Community College at 7:30 p.m. Teaneck Deputy Mayor Adam Gussen, the Democratic candidate, will attend along with Green Party candidate Patricia Alessandrini. Incumbent Republican Rep. Scott Garrett will not attend, the LWV said.
