The car's driver and passenger escaped serious injury after the Sunday night crash in Teaneck, police said. Both were seen alert and walking around, residents at the scene said.
A car flipped on Morningside Terrace around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. The Teaneck Fire Department responded to the scene, along with police and TVAC.
The car flipped and sent a parked car onto a nearby front yard on Morningside Terrace around 10:30 p.m.

A motorist and his passenger escaped serious injury when the car they were in hit a parked car and rolled over on Morningside Terrace late Sunday, police said.

The impact sent the parked car onto a nearby front yard, according to authorities and area residents at the scene. Both the driver and passenger, who were not immediately identified, were walking around after the crash around 10:30 p.m.

The Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps transported the driver to Holy Name Medical Center and the passenger declined medical attention. Police said it was possible alcohol played a role in the accident, but no charges had been filed late Sunday.
