A sushi buffet is planned at a former deli on Teaneck Road, near Grayson Place.
Signs were up for the new Teaneck Sushi Buffet restaurant Thursday, but an exact opening date was not immediately clear. The owners could not be reached to comment.
The restaurant advertises delivery to Teaneck and other nearby areas on its website.
“It's time to rethink your definition of buffet. Forget your vision of processed food that has been sitting under glaring lights all afternoon,” the website says. “Every item on our huge menu is made and served fresh to order. Whether you prefer traditional sushi or Asian fusion style, you will savor every bite knowing it was handcrafted just for you.”
The eatery also advertises Asian Fusion selections cooked fresh to order.
Teaneck Sushi Buffet is set to open in the former Stanley's Deli & Pizza location. The deli closed last August.
