On Saturday, January 15, Chef Central of Paramus held Round 1 of their annual competition, the Ultimate Chef Bergen County.

Chef Michael Ostros of Regina's Steakhouse in Teaneck faced off against Chef Bryan Gregg of The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn.

Each chef had to make four dishes using a common ingredient - sweet potatoes. The free event, which drew an estimated 75 people, was the first of three to take place this month at Chef Central.
