Teaneck police have released security camera footage of Sunday's armed hold-up at a township Dunkin' Donuts

Police were called at 11:47 p.m. to the Teaneck Road donut shop after a man pulled a black handgun and demanded money from a cashier, Detective Lt. Andrew McGurr said Monday.

The female cashier tried to flee when confronted by the armed robber, authorities said. The gunman chased her around the counter before she was forced to turn over an undisclosed amount of cash.

A second employee was the only other person in the store during the robbery, police have said. There were no injuries.

Teaneck police were sharing images of the incident with other area law enforcement agencies. Investigators on Monday also released a still photo of the bandit.

He was described as Hispanic, approximately 5-foot-8, wearing a gray hoodie, black jacket, with a red scarf over his face and black sunglasses.

Anyone with information on the incident can call Teaneck Police at 201-837-2600.

No he's not and he touched the wall so his prints should be on there but they are useless now if they were not picked up then.

I would think the print on the till may be more helpful. I can only imagine how many people have touched the wall, counter, garbage can.

But, I'm not Perry Mason. Lol. And unless this cat has a record....
A local merchant was telling me that word going around is that this is actually a female. Dunno bout that.

The streets already know who did this, I'm so sure. The question is whether anyone in the PD has people in the streets to help them out. We shall see.

Now the question is,"what are the Teaneck Police going to do about this?" It seems like over the last few months, this type of armed robbery is increasing. It is not rocket science to at least take a look at the many individuals who have arrest records for this type of crime who live in Teaneck, since this guy got away on foot. Small businesses like DD and their employees have to have a reasonably safe environment to do business. Also, this type of activity might escalate, if something is not done to change the perception that this type of crime is common in our town.

lol You ever seen something go to trial before? Who said anyone is serving anything? But hypothetically if they are guilty, I don't know. WHo knows what the law will throw at you.
