Teaneck High School Graduate Awarded Scholarship for Diversity Essay

Teaneck High School graduate Anna Handelman was awarded a $5,000 scholarship from The McGraw-Hill Companies for her commitment to diversity, according to a press release. 

Handelman was one of five summer interns at McGraw-Hill to receive the scholarship. She completed a 500-word essay on the impact that diversity and inclusion have had on her life, the company's release said. 

She is going into her junior year at Rice University, where she is studying Mathematical Economic Analysis, Statistics, the release said.
