Can't WAIT to check this place out! Hope Teaneck residents care more about Nature than they care about MOVIES. Sounds pretty cool though- good place nearby to take young'uns too!

Sounds like fun for my kids. When I first heard they had a bar/lounge there, I thought it was a wings joint.

The spot indicating Wings World on the patch map is on the wrong place; it should be on the north side, at the end of Vesey Street.
It presently points to a private residence.

Bad experience. I went to the front desk to ask if they had access for the handicapped and none of the three people working there knew. #Fail

There were ramps and elevators there. It was spacious everywhere. The atrium might be a bit cramped with a wheelchair and lots of people, but a wheelchair definitely could make it around the atrium.

We had a great time, and there were many activities beyond the butterfly attraction.
But the yearly membership options are way too expensive and the regular admission price is rather high considering that the most of the activities have additional costs. Also, there seem to be far more dead, pinned up butterflies than live ones. The atrium, which is the crowned jewel is small and cramped. In comparison, it is less than half the size of the butterfly exhibit at the bronx zoo. The staff attempted to direct people in one direction but it did not work out very well. Overall the staff seemed pretty inept, and confused. I noticed that the place is clearly for activities not to serve as an educational experience as many of the explanation placards of the live animal exhibits were confusing, and poorly written.

i was also shocked that There was no information about the cost and availability of parties and events. I would assume that more revenue would be generated by events than admission.

The restaurant was still non-operational which was surprising. I also would think that a place like this on Teaneck would sell kosher food as well.

I hope that the owners make significant changes to the operation or I think the place will be closed in short time, which would be a real shame.

Let's TRY to support this place and give them suggestions to improve their operation! We don't want another place crashing, before it even starts!

I visited World of Wings with my family and yes, the staff seemed a little more than confused. There weren't too many food options available but my kids survived. It is not the time of year for butterflies and I was actually surprised by the number of live butterflies in the atrium and the pupae in the chrysalis area. Unless WOW is willing to pay their workers more than minimum wage I don't expect to see much improvement overall in the level of subject matter knowledge or overall customer service. I tried contacting them via email last week and never received a response. I will attempt to call them this week.

I would say give them a chance. Staff can also be trained better, and as for the Kosher food, I live in Fair Lawn and I don't expect Memorial Pool to sell Kosher Food at their concession stand. That is incredibly expensive to have on had. Perhaps they could have some small things. I am going tomorrow to check it out. I was a bit confused by the pricing, but you can't compare it directly to places like the Bronx Zoo since many many people in Bergen County won't drive there nor to anywhere outside of their immediate neighborhood. Before criticizing it though I will give them a chance and see how it goes.

The staff does seem confused, the populace was 99 percent Korean, the gift shops are gaudy, especially the one that functions like a trap prior to entering the children's play area, the young children's play area needs more stimulating toys and less of merely ambience. There isn't even a place for an adult to sit. The slide in the young children's section is incredibly slippery, there shouldn't be the semblance of a museum when it is a business enterprise. The dead butterflies with labels as well as several other "museum" type explanations are insulting. Decide to be one or the other, but if you're going to be a museum, then have the knowledge and the know how available. Families and children want to learn. Don't bring them in, make it look like they're learning and trap them with entertainment. More educational opportunities and less kitchen gadgets. This place looks like it used the cheapest of materials and toys to occupy the folks that were fooled enough to go inside.

I still have not heard back from this place directly about accomodating special needs children. WELL, I guess -- no, not I guess - they are off the list as a venue to visit.
