Threat Forces Cancellation of Teaneck High School Football Game
Police said weapon threat led to cancellation.
The Teaneck High School football game Saturday was cancelled after officials received a threat that someone was planning to bring a gun, police said.
Police said they were alerted to the threat around 5:30 p.m. The Teaneck vs. Northern Valley Regional football game was set to begin at 7 p.m.
The game was tentatively rescheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday.
Additional details were not immediately clear.
