VIDEO: Ambulance Corps, Fire Dept. Demonstrate Crash Rescue
As part of national EMS Week, TVAC and the TFD showed how they would respond to a car wreck with people trapped.
The township's all-volunteer emergency medical service, the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and the Teaneck Fire Department teamed up Sunday to showcase their ability to respond to a mock car crash with people trapped inside.
Members of the two emergency squads worked hand-in-hand in the simulated operation to give the community a chance to see how rescues are made.
The event concluded EMS Week, a national recognition of emergency medical services.
