Weinberg Receives "Spirit of Humanity" Award

Reverend Bruce Davidson also honored.

Senator Loretta Weinberg and Reverend Bruce Davidson, from the Lutheran Office of Governmental Ministries, were honored with the “Spirit of Humanity” award from the Unitarian Universalist Legislative Ministry of New Jersey (UULMNJ), according to a news release.

Township resident and UULMNJ board member Margaret Blackburn White presented Weinberg with her award.

“Senator Weinberg is widely known and respected as a champion of issues affecting women, children, families, health care, gun safety, and other quality-of-life concerns,” White said in a news release.

Davidson has recently retired as director of the Office of Governmental Ministries of the Lutheran Church in New Jersey. He has championed many of the causes that  Weinberg and the UULMNJ support, according to the release.
