Monday morning could bring snow and sleet across Bergen County, followed by scattered freezing rain into the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
The agency has issued a winter weather advisory for the area from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.
Snow early in the day could make for slippery driving conditions, the advisory said, noting snow could collect on top of icy roadways.
