DESCRIPTION:SUMMER CAMP RELEASE 2012\nThe Garage Theatre Group&rsquo\;s s
 ummer program is designed to spark a lifelong appreciation of theater by
  encouraging young people to participate in all aspects of play producti
 on\, GTG enables youth to develop their voices\, bodies and imaginations
 \; develop the skills needed to enjoy performing and develop self-confid
 ence to explore their creative possibilities. The value of performing ar
 ts in education lies in the skills needed for both: listening\, communic
 ating\, discipline and imagination. The pleasure for the young participa
 nts lies in the response from an audience. By providing a strong curricu
 lum\, GTG reinforces the value of these skills in young people and stren
 gthens their self-confidence by giving them a moment to shine in their c
 ommunity.\nWelcomes kids of all ages and all skill and experience levels
 .\nEncourages the development of imagination and creativity in a non-com
 petitive\, constructive environment\nNurtures a love for theater and the
  performing arts so that students grow up not only to be artists but als
 o lifelong theatergoers and arts patrons\nIntroduces students to many as
 pects of theater production\, including stagecraft\, playwriting\, movem
 ent\, design\, etc.\nExpands students' knowledge of theatrical tradition
 s and stories from cultures around the world\nThe Garage Theatre Groups 
 Ultimate summer includes workshops in Acting\, Voice\, and Movement. Pro
 ductions at the end of each session. Students work on ALL ASPECTS of pro
 ductions. Weekly trips to N.Y.C. SHOWS\, Late Nights! All in our newly r
 enovated professional theatre. Our 19th season of outstanding Youth Thea
 tre. THERE ARE MANY IMITATORS\, BUT THERE IS ONLY 1 GARAGE! \nThis amazi
 ng Theatre Arts Program combines education\, practicality\, entertainmen
 t\, and recreation\, all taught by The Garage&rsquo\;s professional staf
