Could Fair Trade be an option for a Haitian community? Clemens Reinke, Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church of Teaneck, will share stories, pictures, and ideas about Trois Mats, a mountain community in Haiti, with which Grace Church is in partnership. Could the concept of Fair Trade help this community to develop their economic base, build up their school for the education of their children, and could Teaneck become a place where Haitian Fair Trade Coffee could become available? Come, see, and hear what it might take to make this dream a reality.
This event is co-sponsored by Fair Trade Teaneck.
Teaneck General Store is a Fair Trade, kosher-certified cafe and gift shop specializing in eclectic, artisan-made and sustainable products.
