Founded in 1997, Aikido North is a traditional martial arts school that teaches Aikido, the Japanese self-defense art. It offers classes everyday for kids, teens and adults. Aikido is non-violent and leads to safety and personal development. Founder and head instructor Jerry Zimmerman has more than 29 years of training and working as a teacher. His rank is Godan, Fifth Degree Black Belt and he is a Shidoin (Master Teacher), certified by the International Aikido Federation.
