Temple Emeth’s June Jubilee honors six members

 (Teaneck) Temple Emeth’s June Jubilee will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 7 p.m.  The 2012 Biennial Gala Dinner Dance and Tribute will honor six members – residents of Teaneck and Hackensack – who have contributed years of service to the congregation and to the communities in which they live.  The guests of honor who will be celebrated by friends and family are Honorees Lynne and Bill Graizel; Beverly and Sy Lazar, who will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards; and Elinor Buchbinder and Suzanne Keusch, who will receive Devotion Awards.   Senator Loretta Weinberg, Majority Leader in the New Jersey Senate and a member of Temple Emeth, will present each honoree with a Proclamation from the State.

 According to June Jubilee co-chairs Audrey Seares and Shana Janoff, the 2012 gala will include cocktails, dinner, dancing, and a silent auction with items including a night at the Marriott, a ski weekend get-away, a round of golf, tickets to Broadway shows and sports events, services such as computer tune-ups and tax preparation, and more.  There will be just enough speeches to toast, roast, and recognize the “super six” who are being lauded for their many contributions.  The price of a ticket, $100, will just cover the cost of an evening that promises to be the biggest social event of the Temple’s season and, with a souvenir ad journal and the auction, is intended to be a major fundraiser as well.  Tickets are being sold until May 11^th; call the Temple office, 201/833-1322, by then to make a reservation.
