The Weed Warriars at Teaneck Creek
Enjoy gardening and get exercise with a dedicated group of like minded individuals. In the Teaneck Creek Park we rely on an all-volunteer force called the Weed Warriors to support and maintain the biodiversity of our ecosystem. After an initial training, volunteers work independently, or in groups, to maintain an invasive-free buffer zone on either side of the park’s trails. All ages and abilities are welcomed. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
More About Teaneck Creek Conservancy

TCC is unique in its commitment to communicating the history and ecology of the park through and ecological and artistic endeavors (EcoArt). Highlights of the park include a 1.8 mile trail system, an outdoor classroom, and place-specific art works that illuminate the history, culture, and ecology of the Park.
