More About Milton Votee Park
Milton Votee Park is the largest developed park in Teaneck. The park features two paved tracks for running and walking, an amphitheater, public swimming pool, three soccer fields, five baseball fields, four tennis courts and playground equipment.
The park's lighted bandshell hosts summer concerts and public events. Jogging and walking around the park's two tracks is a popular activity and fitness equipment is available near the park's tennis courts. A new playground specially designed for children with disabilities is located on the north end of the park.
This park was originally named Central Park, but was renamed in honor of former Teaneck Mayor Milton Votee in 1958, shortly before his death in 1961. Once a unused, garbage-strewn swamp, Milton Votee Park is now one of the most popular destinations in the township.
