Whittier Elementary School is having a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Thursday, January 31, 2013. The tribute will include all students in grades 1 through 4.
There will be two tributes at the school - one involving grades 1 and 2 at 9:00 am and one involving grades 3 and 4 at 12:45 pm.
Each of the tributes will involve songs, poems and texts related to the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The public is cordially invited to these tributes.

More About Whittier School
Whittier Elementary School is is one of three public elementary schools in Teaneck and was named for John Greenleaf Whittier.
Programs at Whittier include after school child care/ tutoring and special education programs.
The school is located in a mostly residential area on West Englewood Avenue, between Hudson and Essex Roads.
