Peace Activist to Speak in Teaneck

The volunteer has been on a dozen trips to Afghanistan.

A peace activist who has made a dozen trips to Afghanistan to scheduled to speak Friday night at the Puffin Cultural Forum in Teaneck. 

"In her 12 trips to Afghanistan as an invited guest of the Afghan Peace Volunteers, Kathy Kelly and her companions stayed with ordinary Afghan people in a working class neighborhood in Kabul living out their belief that 'where you stand determines what you see.'" said an announcement from the Puffin Forum. 

The event begins at 7 p.m. at 20 Puffin Way in Teaneck. It is free and registration is not required.
