Have Teen Pranks at School Gone Too Far?

More than 60 students arrested in Teaneck last week and charged with burglary and criminal mischief during senior prank.

Students at Teaneck High School woke up Thursday morning to find out more than 60 of their classmates had been arrested overnight.

The reason? For attempting to pull a prank of epic proportions inside the school’s walls that included littering the halls with blown-up balloons, smearing Vasoline on door handles, flipping desks and urinating on the floors.

The punch line for the prank couldn’t be enjoyed, however, as police caught the students in the act, arresting more than 60 teens in the middle of the night and charging many with burglary and criminal mischief.
