Hundreds gathered at St. Anastasia's Church in Teaneck to celebrate 84th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., remember his life, and reflect on the ongoing struggle for civil rights. 

Local officials, including Teaneck Deputy Mayor Adam Gussen and Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg, also attended to celebrate King. Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan presented 21 high school students with certificates recognizing community service efforts.
