R.E.A.L. is proud to announce its Third Annual Teaneck Latino Community Celebration

R.E.A.L. is proud to announce its Third Annual Teaneck Latino Community Celebration on Sunday, July 10th from 2 - 5 P.M. at the Puffin Cultural Forum, located at 20 Puffin Way (formerly East Oakdene Avenue) in Teaneck, NJ 07666.

The diversity of Latino cultures living in Teaneck and surrounding communities will be showcased. Friends and family are welcome to enjoy incredible music, food, poetry, and even mask making! The afternoon’s highlights include: Isabella Cruz-Gonzalez - a nine year old conga player, Spanish poet Antonio Porpetta will read from his work, Gregory Sepulveda-reggaeton/hip hop artist, Xenobia Nova
– jazz singer, and Cuban Style Rumberos, together with Nydia Ocasio and Tito Sandoval, will be leading in Rumba lessons.

Come sample foods from diverse communities such as arepas from Colombia, empanadas from Argentina, pupusas from Salvador and much more!

R.E.A.L’s mission is to promote a positive awareness of the Latino community in Teaneck and to be a resource for Latinos and others, through education, advocacy and participation in cultural/social community events.
