Senior Art Exhibit Continues at Library

The Teaneck Senior Services Center is extremely pleased and proud to announce an exhibition at the Teaneck Public Library showcasing the artistic talents of participants of the Center’s Watercolor Painting and Drawing program.

This inspiring exhibition, which will be on view during the months of July and August, features renderings of local resident artists: Karen Lowenstein – “Hydrangeas”, Eunice Pruitt – “On the Way to the Market”, Hedda Ribolow – “Swans”, Eva Piccioni – “Irises”, Sandy Loft – “Homage to Winslow Homer”, Sally Stamper – “Sunset”, Babara Wysession – “Garden in a Garden”, Violet Gove – “Rocky Maine Coast”, Muriel Ronner – “Watermelon”, Jim Norman – “Naskeag Point”, Rhoda Ferat – “Peonies”, Laraine Chaberski – “ The Barn“, Ines Solomon – “Fire and Flood”, Vernell Pearson – “Haiti’s New Hope”, Micki Shilan – “Nature At Its Best”, Dorothy Gomez – “Wildflowers in a Vase”, Barbara Brandon – “Magnolias”, Ruth Noon – “By Matisse, Merci Beaucoup”, Gladys Thomas – “Wait For Me”, and Thomasine Goodman – “Relaxing Sea”.

These 20 artists are among the talented attendants of award winning artist and instructor, Christine Friedman’s Watercolor Painting and Drawing classes which are held at the Richard Rodda Community Center.

Through the generous facilitations of Liz Celotto, Exhibit Coordinator at the Teaneck Public Library, and Sandy Loft, one of the contributing artists, the visually appealing works of art are on display in the Library’s entrance gallery, along the various walls, and within the glass cases. The community is invited to take a moment to enjoy the summer exhibit during your next visit to the Library, located at 840 Teaneck Road.
