Tanker Truck Overturns On I-95 Near Teaneck

A tanker truck overturned near exit 70-B on I-95 Tuesday afternoon causing delays in the north and southbound lanes, near the Leonia-Teaneck border, police said. 

Northbound local travelers should expect a two mile delay, and those heading southbound in the express lanes will face delays as well, Lt. Stephen Jones of the New Jersey State Police said around 5 p.m. 

The fluid the truck was carrying is unknown at this time but is not gasoline nor is it explosive, according to Jones.

One passenger vehicle was involved in the accident, but no injuries have been reported.
