The Teaneck Farmers’ Market Opens Our

Great New Season on Thursday, June 23rd

We’re planning another great Teaneck Farmers’ Market season for you this year, starting on Thursday, June 23rd from Noon to 6 PM, weather permitting. As always, the Teaneck Farmers’ Market is located just off of Garrison Avenue and Beverly Road in the Municipal Parking Lot for plenty of free parking. (If you’ve never been to the market, Garrison Avenue is the street that meets Cedar Lane at Wells Fargo Bank and Bischoffs).  There’s additional free parking at the Beverly Road Municipal Free Parking Lot, just east, across of Garrison Avenue, behind Veggie Heaven. For more information about Cedar Lane’s stores, log on to www.cedarlane.net and also get more directions.

The Bergen County Senior Nutritional Program sign-up is scheduled at our market for one day only, on July 14th, from Noon to 3 PM. Seniors who qualify with their income documents will be able to obtain $20.00 worth of coupons, in a set of four, $5.00 coupons. For more information call:

201-336-7400, and ask for WIC information.

The Market is growing again this year with gourmet treats from Krakus’ Deli from the Central New Jersey region, who bring varieties of German style pirogues, both savory and sweet, and other cold and hot, ready to eat foods, like soups, entrees and more.

Plus, we have six of your favorite vendors back, including The Amish Country Bakery, with favorite pies, breads, cookies, fresh creamery butter, a large assortment of jams, relishes and more. Returning again this season are local businesses like, Angela Logan’s Mortgage Apple Cakes, with her famous family’s recipe of organic ingredients of apple cupcakes topped with sweet vanilla cream frosting, and divine apple rum cakes. Www.maccakes.com; and Pickle-Licious; www.picklelicious.com.

We have a marvelous array of fruits, vegetables, flowers, potted plants and scrubs brought to us by Sunden’s Stone Point Farms and Stoltzfus Produce. Hoboken Farms, www.hobokenfarms.com, brings from freshly baked goods, artisan breads, mozzarella cheese, gourmet prepared frozen meats, sirloin burgers, poultry, crabmeat cakes, fish entrees, and a variety of ravioli favorites. Teaneck’s own Pickle-Licious brings pickles, olives, and other marinated condiments, that will help your family entertain in style. More gourmet delights for anyone’s table. We are happy to have all of our farmer’s and food vendors making our marketplace so special.

And if you are feeling a little stressed, returning to our market this year will be a massage therapist from Teaneck’s own Back in Touch Massage Center, www.backintouchteaneck.com.  There’s something for everyone at the Teaneck Farmers’ Market – all of it good!  Make it your destination on Thursday afternoons through October 27th.

We hope that you’ll visit us throughout the Teaneck Farmer’s Market season, and visit Cedar Lane, to shop at our stores and have a meal in our restaurants.
