The speaker that had been scheduled to appear at Tuesday night's Teaneck Fair Trade Committee meeting has backed out, but the meeting will still take place.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Joan Shifrin is not able to make the Tuesday meeting, according to Julie Buckingham with the Fair Trade committee.
The group is still planning to meet Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 7:30 p.m., at the Teaneck General Store.
The meeting is open to the public and newcomers are encouraged to check it out to learn more about Fair Trade Teaneck, according to Buckingham.
