Who can forget Teaneck’s own Pickle-licious?  At our market they bring all sorts of pickles, mixtures of olives, and more. You can help spread the word.

Our Market has Gourmet Nuts and Dried Fruits, who have a wonderful array of salted, raw or roasted nuts, trail mixes, and wonderful dried fruits, with a fabulous dried strawberry that is divine.

Our Amish Country Bakers will be coming back too. They'll be at the market, starting on June 13th. Angela Logan's Mortgage Apple Cakes will bring her cake creations too.

Joining us this season is Daniel Senter of Teaneck Bees.  He will bring honey and other bee products from one hive here in Teaneck and others in upstate NY. Daniel can advise you all about the world and life of our endangered bee population.

You told us you wanted a vendor who sold beverages, so we went to the best: the rage of the NJ markets and festivals -- Lizzmonade. They squeeze fresh drinks on the spot. Talk to them about an event that you might have.

And our market wouldn’t be without our farmers who have been our great anchor farmers from New Jersey and PA, Sunden’s Stone Pointe Farms and Stoltzfus Produce. They're at either end of our market line-up, so you can select from one or both.

Also tune into WFDU's FM 89.1 radio station for weekly announcements of the markets activities throughout our season.

Mark your calendars. The Bergen County Senior Farm Nutritional Program for seniors has scheduled sign-ups for Teaneck or other Bergen County residents, for Thursday, July 11th from noon to 3 p.m. only. You can download applications on our website or copies will be available at the market table before the scheduled date. For more information, call 201-336-7400.

Most of our vendors and farmers are on-line, so you can find out more information by logging onto their sites.

We'll see you soon, on June 6th, from Noon to 6 PM at the Teaneck Farmers' Market, located at the Garrison Avenue and Beverly Road, parking lot. There’s plenty of free parking in our Cedar Lane district.

For more information, call our Cedar Lane Management Group office: 201-907-0493, or log onto: www.cedarlane.net. We also have a Facebook page: www.teaneckfarmersmarket.com, so please join us and “like us.” If you have a great recipe, or a photograph from the market day that you want to share, please send in on the Facebook message area. We will select the best and share it on our FB page, and our E-Newsletter. Our goal is to expand our market’s popularity and attendance this season, and it’s a great way to do it.
