Work Continues at Insect-Themed Entertainment Center in Teaneck [PHOTOS]
Live butterfly conservatory, other insects planned at Windsor Road center.
Construction continued Sunday at the on Windsor Road, but an official opening date has not yet been made public.
The center, called World of Wings, is planned to include insect exhibits a live butterfly conservatory and small reptiles, project representatives have said. The Teaneck variances sought by the facility in October.
A company spokesperson could not be immediately reached Monday, but “coming soon” signs marked with the World of Wings logo have appeared at the construction site. The location will be hiring and is set to include two gift shops, according to the World of Wings Facebook page.

“The exhibits will focus mostly on butterflies and moths of the world, but there will be several different live exhibits,” World of Wings said in a previous statement. “We want to educate and expose the public to nature, and the beauty of these creatures, in a fun, educational way.”
The 5.8-acre World of Wings site was , a Swiss fragrance company, which sold the property.
