Teaneck's municipal offices are closed Thursday, days after Hurricane Sandy hit the township.
The Municipal Building, Richard Rodda Center and Teaneck Public Library are all closed because of outages and storm damage, according to a township announcement. The town hall closed early Monday as the storm hit.
Teaneck public schools and Fairleigh Dickinson University are also closed.
Residents can charge cell phones at police headquarters at 900 Teaneck Road.
Power remained out to most of Teaneck Thursday morning, although service had been restored in some sections of town. PSE&G's outage map showed more than 10,000 customers still without service.
"Our best forecast as of now is that we will have virtually all of our impacted customers restored to service within the next seven to 10 days. There may still be isolated pockets of customers who have individual flooding or downed line issues that may take slightly longer," PSE&G said in a statement early Thursday.
