DENNIS HIRSCHFELDER
In 1952 at the age of ten, Dennis Hirschfelder accompanied his parents to Europe where they bought him a Kodak Retina 1A camera. He has been photographing ever since. The small group of photos presented in his show at the Teaneck General Store reflect his long time interest in “street photography”. He enjoys walking about with his camera, coming upon and quickly capturing a particular moment in time be it of an individual, a landscape, light and shadows or textures juxtaposed against each other.
Dennis and his wife, Arlene, reside in Teaneck where they have lived for thirty-seven years and where they raised their children, Adam and Brooke.

Hobbyists began “fretsaw” carving shortly after the Italian invention was introduced in the 1500’s.

A member of the Bergen County historical Society, Manfred has made portraits of historical re-enactors and created 26 individual portraits of the 26 shooting victims of the Newton Connecticut School shooting.
